Reddish yellow jade 黄翡

The jadeite is carved into a leaf 叶子 which represents 夜夜平安、事业有成. It means safety and success in career. 

The jadeite is highly translucent with very beautiful reddish yellow. Red and yellow jades are usually found on or near the surface of raw jade stone. Hence, they are often dry and not used as jewellery. Such colour with good lustre and translucency is very rare. This piece of good quality jadeite is being carved into a leaf, not only for its auspicious meaning, but also to minimise wastage of jade material.

The jade is set with 18k white gold and diamonds.
