Ruyi (如意)

The Ruyi is in 24k pure gold (足金). It is hollow. However, as it is to be worn as bracelet which is susceptible to external pressures, greater amount of gold is used to make it thicker. Hence, it will not go out of shape easily due to the softness of pure gold. In addition, the workmanship is exquisite.

There are four Chinese characters 幸福如意 at the back of the Ruyi. It means happiness and one gets what one wishes for.

The Ruyi is 35mm long, 6mm thick and 8mm broad.

The black beads are natural obsidian, while the red beads are agate. They are about 8mm.
