Icy green jade pendant 高冰种

• Safety coin 平安扣 is worn for safety. It is well liked for its auspicious meaning and simplicity. Young and old, men and women all wear it. Hence, it is often bought as a gift for a full month baby and grandparents' birthday.  
• Besides cabochon, safety coin is also a preferred carving for good quality jadeite. The design is simple, not much of the precious jade material will be wasted. When there is serious crack or imperfection, detailed carving is required to make it less obvious, hence a coin with smooth surfaces will not be feasible.
• The jade has very fine grains and texture, hence it has fluorescent (起荧光) that most jade do not have.
• It is also highly translucent with a few patches of green.
